Named in honor of Joey’s Grandpa, Ed “Pop” Gugino who was a firefighter for the city of Tonawanda from 1960-1989. Ed was named Captain in 1968, Assistant Fire Chief in 1980, and Fire Chief in 1984, before retiring in 1989. Pop was an amazing firefighter, neighbor, father, and grandfather, with a passion for wildlife and helping others. Cheers to Pop. We miss you dearly and dedicate this sauce to you.
